Elevator Pitch

It’s me, one of the founding members of Gamerlicious.

Early Life

Best of Disney (Tarzan / Hercules / Toy Story 2 / Magical Racing Tour) Copyright Disney

Born in Austria in 1991. The first family PC was my dad’s Windows 3.11 Workstation with CIV 1, a trial version of AoE and of course Paint. My first “multiplayer” games were Best of Disney (Tarzan / Hercules / Toy Story 2 / Magical Racing Tour) which I played with my siblings sharing a keyboard

and Warcraft 3 which we bought our very own Dlink Switch for. My first console was a Wii, which I won at a raffle. I also shared this with my silblings because we bought controllers and games together.

Business career

Jumping ahead a few years I studied Computer Science and majored in Information Security. After a few years as a Technical Consultant I now work as a Technical Analyst in the finance sector.

Other activities

Code

In my free time I code mostly in Javascript, NodeJS, Python, Bash and recently PHP (again) but am not picky about it.

Server and Services

I do administrator work on selfhosted applications and gameservers and build a smart home.

  • Currently running RaspberryPi: 3 (and a Zero but that’s seasonal)
  • Currently broken Smarthome Integrations: 2 (As of 06.02.2023)

Adventures

I also tour Austria my Finacé we got a Klimaticket and ride the train almost every weekend. We try to visit new and interesting places in our homeland (and neighbouring states) and take nice* pictures with our Fujifilm XS-10.
