The gaming culture association Gamerlicious will be represented at the Spielefest Wien for the first time in 2026 with its own booth. On July 11 and 12, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the association in person and learn more about its work.

The focus will be on gaming culture, safety, health, and social aspects of the online gaming world. The goal is to promote a conscious and reflective approach to digital games while also highlighting the positive sides of gaming.

On March 1st, 2025, our biannual general assembly took place in the community room at Schweidlgasse in Vienna. Together, we reviewed an active year, set important goals for the future – and closed the day in true Gamerlicious fashion with a cozy game afternoon.

Review 2023/24

Looking back, we’ve had an exciting year: gaming afternoons, online evenings, a festive holiday event, our visit to the game convention, and a new website were just a few of the highlights. A special milestone was establishing contact with schools – including plans for a cyber safety training for children and parents.

Another year is coming to an end, and we look back on the past months with pride and gratitude. 2024 has been a year full of progress, new projects, and shared experiences for Gamerlicious. It’s time to reflect on the highlights and give you a glimpse of what’s to come in the new year.

The year opened in February with a games afternoon, which was held in a common room in Vienna’s 2nd district. We were joined by some well-known club members and some new game enthusiasts. There were also children’s games and willing players to entertain the little ones. At this point, a big thank you again to all participants.

The last board game night was a complete success and left us with great memories. But don’t worry, the gaming fun tradition continues.
