On Friday there was the first official general meeting of the association, including the official election of the board, the auditors and our future logo.
The association can already count 12 members and all of them attended the meeting, which was held as a hybrid event - i.e. mixed online and on site. There were minor unplanned hurdles that we had to overcome, but all in all it was a very successful, sociable and fun general meeting.
In any case, we can be sure that there is always a good atmosphere during club meetings and that the cliché of anti-social and loner gamers can be eliminated. With lots of fun, a cozy location and friends by your side, such a general meeting can only go well and we were not disappointed.
The elected board
So far 'only' founding members, the four have now been officially elected as board members of the association by all members unanimously. At this point, a heartfelt thank you from the board to all members and we look forward to achieving the goals we have set together over the next few years.
There are a few items on our quest log and of course we want to tick off as many as possible or at least get one step further. Ideally with the help of our members. Either way, the board is full of energy for the next few years.
The club logo
In addition to the board of directors, the future and final logo of the association was also voted on after the board of directors could not decide between two proposals. The owl that you can already see on the homepage is now the official mascot. Maybe in time she'll get a name too. We will see.
