1. Who or what is Gamerlicious?

Gamerlicious has been a player community since 2011, which formed into an association in 2022.

2. What does Gamerlicious do?

We are primarily a community platform by gamers for gamers. However, they aim to inform and educate.

Principles of our work:

• Education and promotion of (computer) games culture
• Education and promotion of safety in (computer) games
• Education and promotion of health in (computer) games
• Promotion of social issues in the online gaming world

Our goals:

• Inform and educate
• Exchange opportunities and social issues
• Right to reasonable social interaction in the community
• Avoiding discrimination and "cyber-bullying"
• Help and workshops
• Advocacy
• Promoting Serious Games
• Promote player health
• Promoting the positive aspects and awareness of gaming culture
• Cooperation with public stables, organizations and companies

3. How can I become a member or support you?

In principle, anyone over the age of 18 can become a member of the association. If anyone under the age of 18 wants to become a member, do so a related adult must also join (or have joined) the Club and vouch for the Junior Member. See the membership form for more details.

4. What advantages do I have as a member?

Members of the association are primarily given the opportunity to participate in the association. But apart from that, members are preferred at events, get access to internal game servers, etc.

5. What games do you play?

Basically, you can answer this question with “All”. There will hardly be a genre for which a few players in the community cannot be found. In the course of time, however, the following genres have become established:

6. Are you an eSports club?

No Gamerlicious Spielekulturverein is not an e-sports club and never will be. We only offer a community and platform, as well as the possibility of joint game nights and more. If a group is found and would like to take part in various e-sports events, everyone is of course free to do so, but not as a gamerlicious.

7. How can I talk to you - get in touch?

8. Can I play without being a member?

Everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter if you are a member or not and let’s see, maybe you will become one after all. :)

9. Do you also organize tournaments or other events?

Yes and no.
We will certainly also organize events - games evenings - and workshops and of course we cordially invite you to do so. Maybe there will also be one or the other smaller club tournament. However, it is not the goal to organize large, public tournaments - in the sense of e-sports.
