The year opened in February with a games afternoon, which was held in a common room in Vienna’s 2nd district. We were joined by some well-known club members and some new game enthusiasts. There were also children’s games and willing players to entertain the little ones. At this point, a big thank you again to all participants.

The last board game night was a complete success and left us with great memories. But don’t worry, the gaming fun tradition continues.

For the last time in 2023, Gamerlicious gathered for a board game night. The venue this time was Käuzchen, a change of scenery from the usual.

Now that we’ve wrapped up the last board game night of the year, we want to share our reflections and insights with you.

For the last time in 2023, we’ll be hosting an open board game night in Vienna to wrap up the year together.

This quarter, the board game nights continued.
Once again, the Golden Harp in 1090 Vienna was the chosen venue for 10 association members and a handful of board games.

7 Wonders, the “Kennerspiel des Jahres” in 2011, is a game designed for two to seven players set in the ancient world. For this game, our treasurer, Michael, was the one who explained the rules. Thanks to its simple rules and quick simultaneous gameplay, “7 Wonders” is suitable for both casual players and experienced gamers. In this strategic card game, players gather resources, trade, and construct world wonders over three ages. By accumulating victory points through various means, it remains uncertain until the end who will emerge as the winner of the game. Tactical decisions and keeping an eye on the world wonders of fellow players are at the forefront of “7 Wonders.”
